Dashboard

The RevCent dashboard allows you to create a customizable view of analytical query results as well as list data.

The dashboard consists of tabs, with panels contained in each tab. Each panel contains an element, which visually displays query results as a number, chart or table.

Google BigQuery

Analytics are computed using Google BigQuery, allowing RevCent to perform queries on virtually any amount of data.

BigQuery also allows you to conduct Google AdWords and Google Analytics queries alongside your RevCent data.

BigQuery Machine Learning was introduced as a new way to build machine learning models using your RevCent data.

Dashboard Tab

The dashboard contains a series of tabs, created and named by you.

In the example screenshot above, we simply organized the dashboard by creating tabs for each revenue type. However, you can organize tabs any way you want.

Dashboard Panel

Each dashboard tab can contain a maximum of 10 panels. Each panel is customizable, and can be filtered separately from others in the same tab.

There are multiple panel types, which dictate what the source of the analytic will be. For instance, a sale panel will display analytics on sales.

Panel Types

Pie

A visual chart, grouped by a specific value.

Timeline

A visual chart as a time series.

Table

Declined

Declined Setting

Do Nothing

Do nothing simply ends the payment profile process at the step. If declined, the transaction is returned as declined.

Dont Modify Amount

Don't Modify Amount allows you to simply proceed to another step. For example, if you wish to try another gateway without modifying the initial amount, you would choose this.

Decrease By %

Modify the original transaction amount by a percentage decrease.

Decrease By $

Modify the original transaction amount by a fixed dollar amount decrease.

Declined Modifier

Value

A declined modifier directly related to the declined setting. If your declined setting is % (percentage) and your modifier is 10, then you will be decreasing the original transaction amount by 10%.

Declined Action

If you wish to repeat to the current step using any modifiers.

Edit Payment Profile

Editing a payment profile will automatically apply to any subscription profiles, and upcoming expired trials using the payment profile.

Example Image

Step 1
Sending the first attempt using the cascade source. If the transaction is declined we are decreasing the original amount by 5% and proceeding to step 2.

Step 2
Attempt the transaction using the gateway source, the gateway being Authorize.net at the 5% decreased amount. If declined, we will decrease the original amount by 10% and send to the step 3.

Step 3
The final step does not have modifiers, it simply allows you to send an additionally modified amount to a third source. We process the transaction using the gateway source, the gateway being Authorize.net at the 10% decreased amount. If declined, the transaction is officially declared as declined.

Repeat Step Once

If you wish to repeat to the current step using any modifiers.

Payment Profile Cascade

A payment profile cascade allows you to process transactions at specific gateways using a specific order and set rules for each gateway.

This is a powerful capability, allowing you to distribute transactions to gateways with optional rules for each gateway. Rules can be based on transaction amount, transaction volume, number of declines and specific time ranges.

All gateways in your account are present in the cascade, however a gateway can be disabled within the cascade. Account disabled gateways will be prevented from processing regardless of cascade settings.
